Crime Solvers Community Outreach

Spotsylvania County Crime Solvers participates in many functions in conjunction with Spotsylvania County and the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.

1) Spotsylvania County Crime Solvers staff a booth at the Annual Crime Prevention Day to spread the word about our program. The display contains newspaper articles that have been in the local Free Lance Star newspaper showing how a tip to the anonymous telephone Tip Line helped solve a crime.  We also have brochures explaining the program, and pens, pencils, etc. given out to the public with the Tip Line telephone number, the P3 App, and Website Tip Page information.

2) Spotsylvania Crime Solvers has participated in every National Night Out event since 2007 with our booth to spread the word about our program.  National Night Out is held on the first Tuesday in August of each year.

3) Spotsylvania Crime Solvers participates in the annual Spotsylvania County Christmas Parade held every December in the Spotsylvania Courthouse area.
